Tishana Ellis has been an educator for two dozen years, working with children from ages 3 to13 in both the USA and abroad. She graduated with honors from Indiana University in Bloomington in the late 90's. Although she hails from Indiana, she resides for some parts of the year in the sunny island of Barbados where she helps children with reading difficulties become better learners. For her dedicated work in Barbados, she was awarded the honor of TEACHER of the YEAR and has been repeatedly requested to conduct professional development workshops all across the island!
Tishana has always had a burning passion for writing books and has recently co-authored a book with her young son entitled, BUT THEN COVID CAME. She and her son have done book talks and book signings for several schools and organizations. She also enjoys designing and teaching young author and youngpreneur courses to children of all ages and has a goal to help 3-5 youth start their own business each year. In her spare time, Tishana loves spending time with her 13 year old son and her husband at the beautiful beach and walking their 5 dogs!
